Is Free Shipping Really Free?

Today we are going to talk about "Free Shipping".We all know that buying online can save you alot of money,Except when it comes to shipping.I don't know about anyone else,but shipping charges were really putting a dent in my shopping budget.So,I joined Amazon.com's Prime.Which for less than 50.00 a year you get free shipping on items that Amazon.com sells from their warehouse.There are other perks,but the free shipping,unlimited free shipping I might add,is what attracted me.I have been a member for about 5mos.and the savings in shipping charges have been remarkable.I get a lot of Gift Codes to Amazon.com from survey sites I belong to.Before signing up for Amazon.com's Prime,I would have to wait and build up my gift codes to cover the cost of shipping.A book might cost 2.99 but the shipping is going to be 4.99 or more.That just irked me.Now they have this sites of "Deal of the Day".Like Save More,Tippr,Groupon ect.And they offer free shipping.I have purchased items from these websites.And the shipping has not been too bad.I have purchased items from other sites that advertise free shipping.Most sites that offer free shipping with a certain amount spent,Wag.com is one of the fastest on shipping your order.I have order from this site on a Monday,and had my items by Thursday.That is the fastest yet.Kohls also ships fast,but you pay for that.Right now I have been waiting for a "free shipping"order from ONLINE GIFTS,it has been over 2 weeks since I made my purchase.I have sent emails asking what the problem is,when can I expect my order?,but nothing.It's been a week since that first email inquiry.I have made purchases from other sites and have already received my items.So,this just does not make since.I contacted the site that I purchased the 1/2 off voucher from and made a complaint.My point is:That just because it says "free shipping"does not mean that you will get your item any quicker,sometimes it takes twice as long to receive your purchase.Most online sites ship within a reasonable amount of time,send you email updates on the status of your order,but unfortunately some do not.I should have known when I went to the website in question,ONLINE GIFTS,and saw that the sum total of their inventory was 3 or 4 items.And the website did not come across as professional.It is amateurish at best.So,beware of the "free shipping"ploy.Unless you have done business with the site before,expect that your item will be delivered within 14 days.Which is not too bad.Sometimes,paying for shipping will save a lot of frustration.I'm still going to look for free shipping,but I will be looking at the site too and trying to find out everything I can about their Customer service.Amazon.com's Prime is a winner,if you do a lot of shopping on Amazon,make the investment of 48.00 for a year on Prime items.You will get your money back in 3 to 4 orders,tops.

Faith

I do not consider myself a Christian in the way that others view what a Christian is.I am always at a loss for words when I am asked,"Are you a Christian?"What am I suppose to say?No,I do not believe in Organized Religion.I have been to just about every religious organization known to man.And I have never found any of them that told me the truth.I have seen people who claim to be walking with Christ,committing every sin imaginable.And if you point this out,you are vilified.So,I gave up on listen to others tell me what my relationship with MY Creator should be.I think the most important thing to have,besides a personal relationship with your Creator,is Faith.I know from experience Faith is not a given.You can say you have Faith,but,do you really?Do you worry about how you are going to pay your bills?The Mortgage?Food?Clothes?Do you fear things?I guess most people would say it is human nature to 'worry".But,that is not true.Worry causes stress,which causes illness not just physically but mentally too.I use to think that if I prayed for something,I would and should recieve it.Does Creator not say,"ask and you shall receive"What I finally learned was that sometimes,what you ask for is not what you need.Only Creator can see the big picture,we,as mere mortals,cannot see the big picture.I was great at worrying about things that were out of my control.I found that I was worried about things that were beyond my control.I let go.I admit that I do worry,sometimes,just a tiny bit.I am human after all.But,I do not worry about money,material things or what might happen a week from now.I let go.I have Faith,everything is going to work out.I am not going to be without.This life is just one big lesson.And my spiritual growth is important to me,I am still searching,still learning.But,I have Faith.And thats what gets me through my days.

This is the Evora Oral Care powder.I have been using it on Gracie's food for the last 45 days.It has worked on Gracie's teeth,but,then again,I started using this product BEFORE Gracie's teeth got encased with plaque.It only takes a "pinch"of this powder.It does come with a small scoop,and when I say small I mean small.I did some price checking on 5 different pet sites before I finally bought this from Wag.com.The price of 14.95 + shipping was the cheapest I found.Wag.com ships fast so it is worth the price of shipping.There is no smell to this product,and from what I can tell,there is no taste either.It is exactly what they promise on their TV ads.Best to start this product BEFORE your dog or cat has a build up of plaque on their teeth.I highly recommend this product,I use it and it works.

Ebates Review

Okay,we have all seen the ad on TV for ebates.com.The site that pays you to shop.I signed up a few months ago,but kept forgetting to use the service when I went on line to shop.Well,over the holidays I managed to remember to go thru the site to do all my shopping.Well,95% of my shopping.I just had to see if you could really get over 1,000 dollars thru this site.I have so far spent almost 400.00 and my cash back status stands at 32.00 or there abouts.Can you imagine how much you would have to spend in 2mos,they send out checks every two months,to get over a grand back?It boggles the mind.Granted,the amount of cash back is different at every store,but honestly,I have spent over 400.00 and I only have 30.00+.Even getting 300.00 back seems a huge challenge.There are other sites,zuuzuu's for one,Bond Rewards,on and on.But,they all pretty much pay the same.I like ebates.com because you do not have to ask for your money,they cash you out every couple of mos and send you either a check or they send it to your PayPal account.Which makes it so much easier.You do not have to remember to cash out on a certain day,it's done.They do not send you a lot of junk mail,begging you to visit the site.They do send you emails with account updates,new programs and featured stores.That I like.And there is no fine print.If you are going to shop online,you might as well get something back to do it,right?

Let's blame Obama

I am so very sick and tired of everyone blaming President Obama for the state of our Nation.Bush is the one who ,in his 8 years in office,tried to strip people of their rights,started a war in Iraq,knew 9/11 would happen but sat with his finger up his butt and did nothing to stop it,What's a few innocent lives?He got to do what he had planned BEFORE he even took office.Even the score with Iraq.And we fell for it,hook,line and sinker.He used the Presidency for HIS OWN AGENDA,to hell with Human Rights.He caused the Greed Crew to work overtime.We came withing a hairsbreathe of total economic collapse.Bail outs?Bush,not Obama gave the bailouts!!Because Americans are so damn greedy and want everything yesterday,they are also responsible for LIVING beyond their means.Living month to month on credit cards,buying crap that you do not need.Big cars,big houses,big TV's on and on.How long do you think you can live without paying for things?Repigs are now in control of the Congress,and they are going to do NOTHING to help the middle class and poor find jobs.They do not care about any of us "little people".They kiss our asses at election time and we forget that they are living VERY WELL on our tax dollars,and DOING NOTHING to get us out of this hole.And they blame Obama,it's all his fault.WAKE UP!ITIS CONGRESS WHO IS TO BLAME!Obama does not pass the laws,or the programs,CONGRESS DOES.Why are you blaming Obama for something you caused?If you voted Repig,YOU ARE TO BLAME.Not Obama.He has done more for the US than any President since Clinton.When Bush was in office,we were hated and vilified overseas,he destroyed every relationship we had abroad.So,you keep blaming Obama,if that is what let's you sleep at nite,great.But,remember this,if the REPIGS win the White House,it will be hell on a whole new scale.

Online Relationships

I have been on the web since 2006.Taught myself how to navigate around the computer and the internet.But,never tried the many,many websites aimed at singles looking for "love".I am trying it now. But,how do you really know the person you are "talking" to is being honest?I was talking to someone who stated.they were overseas,bit when I asked the time there was a long,very long pause.I finally just signed off.I dislike liars.Especially when they are trying to make themselves something they are not.What people fail to reliaze is I grew up on the streets,so I am not easily fooled.As I type this I am getting "Buzzed"by my IM account.Guess he found out the time!So,how do you know if the person you are talking to is REAL?

Welcome 2012

Here we are again.Another start to a new year.I have much more hope and faith in this year than in any other year of my life.This is going to be the year that everything I have wanted will be mine.I know that having a positive attitude attracts positive outcomes.I watched "The Secret"a couple of weeks ago.I was excited and totally blown away.Everything I had been saying,everything I believed was verified in this program.If you want it,believe that you have it,live it,breathe it,be it.Nothing is beyond your reach.I will have my own home,I will be financially secure.I do not want  to have millions,I just want enough to not have to ever worry about money.I cannot think of anything that I want,I have everything I want.Except my own home.I am so tired of living in a home where my roommate is a slob and hoarder.My bedroom is the only room that is livable.No trash on the floor or boxes piled up every where.It was like this when I moved in 3 years ago,Health Dept/ Code Enforcement shut down because it was a fire trap.I helped clean the place out,it took a month.Now,it is steadily headed right back to that fire trap.It totally boggles my mind.How does someone live like this?Just drop the newspaper on the floor,rotten food on the counters,in the refrigerator,crap every where.Just thrown about.The kitchen cabinets are filled with rotten,bug infested food.I am not going to live like this for the next year,I am going to have my own place.And I will never let this person in my home.Once I leave here,I never,ever want to have any type of contact with the person again.I'm am tired of picking up after a grown person.If it is so important to live in filth and trash,they will have to do it,ALONE.I'm done.
